Shani Drake is an American actress, singer-songwriter and filmmaker. Recent roles include playing Alex in the indie horror feature Mermaid Down (2017), Evelyn in Avery Road (2017), and Tin in Boomer Hogs (2017). Shani attended film school in Seattle where she studied acting, writing, and directing for the camera. In 2015 she moved to Los Angeles. Landline, a surreal short, is her directorial debut. She is currently co-producing a sci-fi pilot (in-development) and an IronHeart fan film (in-production).

When she's not making movies, Shani is performing, writing songs, and making videos for Youtube. Vocalist and multi instrumentalist, she plays piano, guitar and violin. Her voice and style have been described as peaceful and atmospheric, and her songs often incorporate her love for science and outerspace.
