Shani Drake is an American actress, vocalist, and musician. Recent roles include Tatum in the horror feature ShadowMarsh (2022), Kara in the award-winning short Odyssey Omega (2021), Kaley in Tango of Imaginary Friends (2020), and Alex in Mermaid Down (2019)

Shani attended film school in Seattle where she studied acting, writing, and directing for the camera. In 2015 she moved to Los Angeles. She booked a role in the first film she auditioned for (Mermaid Down) and hit the ground running from there. Landline, a surreal short, is her directorial debut. Her scripts have ranked in screenplay competitions such as Blue Cat and Screencraft. She is behind the production company Lamaguchi Studios (IronHeart, Star Kids).
